Our overnight canyon trips from Freeport, NY are what we specialize in. This is our most popular trip. During this trip we will reach the continental shelf for some of the best fishing that the East Coast has to offer. We will typically troll during the day and when night falls, we drift or anchor while the mates prepare dinner. At night the fishing methods will change to chunking and fishing natural and live baits. When the day is about to break, we will start trolling again.

While our main target is Tuna, we tailor our trips to meet the needs of our guests while maximizing fishing time.

Giant Sea Bass:

In November and December we will target Giant Sea Bass, Cod and all else that lives on the bottom of the offshore waters. This trip will range from 50-60 miles offshore and will run from 16-18 hours. This trip is a full day of some of the best bottom fishing you will ever have. When you get tired of pulling on fish you can take a break in the warm and comfortable salon where the mates will be making breakfast, lunch or dinner.

In the early season before the Tuna move into the offshore waters, we will target Striped Bass. We will troll, live bait, jig and do whatever it takes to hook up to some of the biggest Bass you will ever see. This trip typically departs in the early morning. On this trip we will stay out for 10-16 hours, fishing within 3 miles off the beach from Fire Island to New Jersey. Everything you may need is already on the boat. Just show up and let us make you comfortable! While you’re reeling in your fish, the mates will be assisting with anything you may need from a beer to a burger.

Striped Bass trips can also run in the late season. In the Fall we will target these fish again with the same service.
